Youth & Family Clinical Therapist – Community-Based Program

Position Overview:
- Deliver individualized therapy to families in home, school, and community settings, using a strengths-based, solution-focused approach.
- Engage family members in therapy and support their involvement in the treatment process, emphasizing communication, problem-solving, and positive parenting techniques.
- Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and other service providers to ensure coordinated care and support for clients.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to families dealing with immediate issues or emergencies, while ensuring safety and stability.
- Be an integral part of a team-oriented environment.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training, supervision, and team case staffing.

Candidates MUST be willing and able to:
- Live locally, within 1 hour of the noted territory.
- Provide therapy inside the family home as a regular part of the position.
- Maintain a flexible, non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed, based on the availability of the youth and family.
- Regularly travel throughout the full identified service territory to meet with families and provide services where needed (Lexington, Columbia, and Richland)
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates possessing a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with youth and families.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with individuals and families.
